Hydrology & Hydraulics
Statewide Engineering has a Hydrology and Hydraulics department that is second to none. We utilize several industry-leading software programs such as Haestad Method’s ©PondPack v.10 (PondPack is FEMA approved software that analyzes watersheds or drainage basins for Pre and Post development conditions. It also sizes ponds, outlet structures and channels using any storm data for any year and hour event.)
Some of the methods we use to analyze watersheds are Rational Method and Soil Conservation Service (SCS) Hydrograph Method. Some of the methods we use to calculate time of concentration include the TR-55 Urban Hydrology for Small Watersheds for sheet, shallow, and channel flow.

We also utilized other Haestad Method’s Software such as ©CulvertMaster for sizing drainage pipes with inlet and outlet control, and ©FlowMaster for sizing drainage ditches of any shape, size and material. We also use it for calculating gutter spread and catch basin capacity to insure adequate design and spacing to save our clients money on unnecessary over design.
