In 1968, a small company called Statewide Surveying, Inc. was established in South Georgia by local professionals to provide quality services to communities. In 1994, Statewide Engineering was formed as a spin-off from Statewide Surveying. At that time Statewide Engineering employed only five people. With hard work and a positive attitude, Statewide Engineering was able to create and maintain a reputable client base and work load. Services provided at that time consisted primarily in the areas of site design, subdivision development, domestic water and sanitary sewer design, erosion and sedimentation control, and master planning for future developments.
Since beginning business in 1994, Statewide Engineering has grown to now include approximately 40 employees in six separate divisions, and offer a much wider array of professional services to our clients. We are also now licensed to perform services in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina. This steady growth is a testament to our commitment to quality and customer service.
Our Growth has included the development of several new divisions offering a uniquely diversified list of services to communities and private sector entities alike. In recent years, we have developed a diverse range of experienced staff in order to offer such additional services as Grant administration, Community Development, Economic Development, Environmental Management, etc.
